The windmill at Mellor is known as the Giants plate; we have been established for many years but have undergone a refurbishment in November 2006. We are now a hotel and restaurant with luxury en-suite bedrooms.

The hotel and restaurant is run by Trisha Stuart and Ian who have been involved in catering for 20 years, head chef Simon and his kitchen staff are all very experienced. All the staff will make you’re eating experience a memorable one. We are proud to say we use local produce and only use free range eggs which are corn fed.

Conveniently located for Preston, Blackburn and Clitheroe. The Windmill at Mellor is positioned within easy reach of the M6 or the M65 as we are on the main road which leads straight on to the motorway. We are the perfect meeting place for company representatives as we have a large restaurant where meetings can be booked. The windmill has complimentary high speed wireless internet access making it easy to keep in touch.
